Each skills programme and the credits achieved contribute towards relevant SAQA registered qualifications.

SKILLS PROGRAMMES EXPLAINED
A Skills Programme is a registered learning program in which an employer looks at sponsoring either an employed learner or an unemployed learner through a workplace-based learning process to obtain a skills programme which could lead to a full qualification. A Skills Programme requires signoff from both a training perspective as well as from a workplace perspective to ensure that the learner is deemed competent in the qualification and related work role.
A Skills Programme in nature will only run for a short period of time, generally 3 to 6 months and will cover a specific topic or skills set that will be addressed through the Skills Programme. Skills Programmes can be implemented for both Business and IT related programmes subject to the individual needs of the client.
SHORT COURSES EXPLAINED
A Short Course is a programme which can be accredited or unaccredited which is designed to provide the delegates with a specific skill. A Short course in nature is delivered as a once of training programme and is usually facilitated over 2 – 5 days.
Short courses are aligned to the identified needs of the client and can be undertaken for both business and IT programmes subject to the needs and level of the delegates entering the programme.
